Our account manager ordered a stockpile of M&M’s with our company logo delectably printed on its haunches, with the thought of sending them to our clients for the holidays. We needed a clever way to package them up so I decided to create an origami bowl. The recipient would receive a flat piece of paper with instructions on how to fold it into a bowl, for which they could use to hold the M&Ms. Clever, huh? However, like most of our office side projects, things spiral out of control pretty fast (but always in a good way). We ended up creating an instructional video, complete with a holiday rap – written by the company owner and rapper, Melodious Mike – to guide and entertain our merry recipients.

I added a snowy, frosted border to our origami paper, with each snowflake an asterisk set in fonts we used for our clients throughout the year. The title screen of the video also included an origami reindeer pinwheel and trees.
